Self-Initiated AI Tooling

Challenge

Each data grid takes 15+ minutes to build by hand. A typical screen has five or six. Existing plugins don't support Fidessa's design system, making realistic prototyping a significant time cost.

Outcome

Built a custom Figma plugin with Claude Code. 80% reduction in data grid design time — 17 configurations on one project alone. Expanded to ION Web Components.
